Marlene Sue Chartrand, of Pewamo, passed away peacefully on September 23, 2022 at the age of 72. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend born on September 10, 1950 to Louis and Anabelle Werner, however, she was raised and cared for by Herman and Ruth Werner. Marlene was a faithful member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Pewamo and the VFW Post #3733 Auxiliary for many years. In her spare time, she enjoyed ceramics, baking, crocheting, and participating in Weight Watchers. She was also a volunteer with Christian Services. Marlene was a homemaker by trade, raising her children and caring for her grandchildren for many years. Most of all, she loved her family and the time she spent with them making memories. She will be missed by all who knew and loved her.
