Nancy Doty Obituary

Nancy Beth Doty, of Ionia, age 64, loving wife, mother, grandmother, and friend, passed away on Tuesday, May 12, 2020. She was born on July 7, 1955 in Detroit, the daughter of Lawrence and Betty Silverman. Nancy was an RN at General Motors until her retirement. She enjoyed walks in the woods, she loved animals, and spending time at Dickerson Lake. Most of all, Nancy treasured her family, especially the time she spent with her children and grandchildren. Nancy is survived by her devoted husband of 32 years, Max Doty; her children; grandchildren; and one great-grandchild on the way. For those desiring, contributions may be made to D.S.A.W.M., The Downs Syndrome Association of West Michigan in honor of Nancy. Private family services will be held.
