Nicole Ann Simmons

Nicole Ann Simmons of Ionia, passed away on August 23, 2023 at the age of 39.  She was born on December 17, 1984 to Harold and Gail (Sible) Simmons. 

Nicole loved photography, music, playing several different musical instruments and being in the Sams Band and Choir. Her church was very important to her. She enjoyed going for walks, camping and the many family gatherings.  Nicole graduated from Saranac High School in the Class of 2003.  She was a member of First Christian Church in Ionia and later became a member at Outreach Christian Church in Lake Odessa.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Gail; grandparents; aunts, Judy Golden, Karen Simmons; uncle, Gordon Sible.

She is survived by her father Harold “Keith” (Sharon) Simmons, sister Erica (Mark) Rolfe and brother Ryan Simmons; nieces and nephews, Austin (Khadi), Madelynn, Natalie and Zachery;  Uncle Jerry Sible, special Aunt Marilyn Hotchkiss, Uncle Carl Simmons and Aunt Carolyn (Jack) Westmoreland.

Funeral services will be held at 12:00 p.m. on Thursday, August 29, 2024 at Outreach Christian Church, 7831 N. Jordan Lake Road, Lake Odessa. The family will receive friends from 11:00 a.m. until the time of the service. In lieu of flowers, the family asks you to donate to the church or charity of your choosing.
