Patricia Agnes (Byers) Werner

Patricia Agnes Werner, age 83, of Pewamo, passed away peacefully on October 19, 2021. She was born in Lansing to Carl and Agnes (Early) Byers. Pat was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend who will be missed by many. She was a faithful member of St. Joseph Catholic Church, Pewamo and she enjoyed playing bingo and going to the casino. On October 5, 1963, Pat married Herbert Werner and they shared many wonderful years of marriage together until his passing in 2020.

Preceding Pat in death are her parents; husband, Herbert Werner; infant children, Tim and Deb; and siblings, Carl “Sonny” Byers, Kay Byers, and Betty Timpani. Surviving are her children, Brian Werner and Karen (Tony) Schafer; grandchildren, Leanna and Garrett Schafer; and several members of the Werner Family.

The Mass of Christian Burial celebrating both Patricia and Herbert will take place at 10:30 a.m., Monday, October 25, 2021 at St. Joseph Catholic Church, Pewamo with Rev. Darrel Kempf presiding. Rite of Committal will follow at St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Sunday from 2-8 p.m. with a rosary being prayed at 1:30 p.m. at the St. Mary’s Funeral Chapel, 210 N.
