Phillip McCrum Obituary

Phillip Edward McCrum, of Portland, passed away on November 14, 2022 at the age of 76. He was born in Detroit, Michigan, the son of James and Minnie McCrum. Phillip grew up in a loving and boisterous home with four brothers and two sisters. He enjoyed playing baseball in his younger years and eventually developed a love for camping and fishing as well. Phillip retired after many years from the Boilermakers Local #169. On November 6, 1971, he married Pamela Quasis and they shared 51 years of marriage together. 

Preceding Phillip in death are his parents; brother, David McCrum; sister, Martha Herrington; brothers-in-law, Bob Blair and Robert Graur; sisters-in-law, Joann McCrum and Cheryl McCrum. He is survived by his loving wife, Pam McCrum; son, Michael McCrum; siblings, Paul (Nellie) McCrum, Mary Graur, James McCrum, and John (Jane) McCrum; in-laws, Tom Herrington, Barbara (William) Case, and Sandy Blair; many nieces and nephews; and special friends, Chuck and Dawn Taube. 

The Funeral Ceremony will take place at Christian Memorial Gardens West, 521 E. Hamlin Road, Rochester Hills, MI, in the chapel at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, November 19, 2022. The family will welcome visitors on Friday evening from 5-8 p.m. at the Lehman Funeral Home, 210 E. Bridge Street, Portland. Online condolences may be made at www.lehmanfuneralhomes.com.
