RaMona Garth, affectionately known as Mona, passed away peacefully on November 10, 2024, in Dimondale, Michigan, at the age of 54. Born on September 21, 1970, in Saginaw, Michigan, Mona lived a life dedicated to service, love, and creativity.
Mona graced the world with her beauty and joy, leaving an indelible mark on all who knew her. She had a passion for decorating, crafting, gardening, and cooking, which were among her many creative pursuits. A deeply spiritual person, her unwavering love for God inspired everyone around her. Her greatest gifts were her generosity, empathy, and compassion, traits that allowed her to connect profoundly with others.
Mona attended Saginaw High School and later moved to Wuerzburg, Germany, where she welcomed her two eldest children Jasmine & Anthony. She eventually returned to Saginaw to have her youngest child, Malcolm. Mona worked for the Saginaw News for many years before moving to Holland, Michigan, to attend Davenport University, where she achieved a degree in paralegal studies.
As a devoted mother to Anthony, Jasmine (Dustin), and Malcolm, and a loving grandmother to Kendyl, Maverick, and Brynleigh, she found joy in every moment shared with her family. Mona had a passion for life, reflected in her favorite television show, "The Young and the Restless," and her admiration for the music of Elton John & Oldies.
Family was at the center of Mona's life, and she cherished every moment spent with them. Mona was particularly close with nephew Joshua, and Ezra, and nieces IsaDora and Ellienna. She always encouraged them to pursue their dreams and goals. Her love was truly unconditional, and her giving nature left every connection more refined and meaningful.
Mona is survived by her sisters Laura Teneyuque and Veronica Teneyuque. As well as her special sisters Betty Gonzalez, Reta (Danny) Castaneda, Corina (Jerry) Gonzalez, and Kim Pacheco. She is also survived by her brothers Raymond Teneyuque Jr. and Anthony Teneyuque, and her special brother Phil Pacheco. She was preceded in death by her loved ones and her beloved special brother Ron Pacheco and her cherished mother figure, Gloria Morales.
Service will be held on December 28, 2024, at Harvest Assembly Church in Saginaw, MI. at 11 a.m., with Reverend Kim Pacheco presiding.
Mona's legacy of love, kindness, and creativity will continue to inspire all who were fortunate enough to know her. She will be deeply missed but forever remembered in the hearts of her family and friends.
