Robert Paul Bowerman, 38, of Ionia left us unexpectedly August 31, 2024, to be with the Lord. He was born January 17, 1986, to Debra (Telfor) Bowerman and Paul Bowerman. He is survived by his loving mother, Debra (Telfor) Bowerman, uncle Pete Bowerman, sisters, Amy Telfor, Kari Bowerman, nieces and nephews, Alexis (Jordan) Butt, Trey (Alexa) Jones, Emiliano Montano, Amiyah McConnell, Remi Bowerman and great-nephew, Josiah Butt, a maternal grandmother, aunts, uncles and cousins. He is preceded in death by his father, Paul Bowerman, grandfather, John Bowerman, grandmother, Carmen Bowerman, many paternal uncles, paternal aunt, maternal grandfather, Harry (Chum) Telfor and many other family members.
His mother was quoted, “My son was a wonderful, warm, caring son, who will never be forgotten, and always heavy in heart will remain. He left us far too soon and life will never be the same without him. He was always here for everyone and so loved by us all, here without him and those who are with him already.” His sisters quoted, “Our baby brother was the most amazing brother and uncle, so very loved by all his nieces and nephews. He was so funny, always making us all smile, so kind, always making sure everyone was okay. We have all lost a part of what makes us whole and the best man we ever knew. Rest well Bob, Forever Loved.”
A Memorial Service will be held Saturday, October 5, 2024, from 2-4 p.m. at The Banner Event Venue, 608 Peterson Road, Ionia, Michigan.
