Robert A. Sandborn, of Lansing, passed away on September 2, 2023 at the age of 78. He was born in Portland on Valentine’s Day- February 14, 1945 to Russell and Colleen (Arnold) Sandborn. Preceding him in death are his parents. He is survived by his loving wife of 38 years, Victoria “Viki” Sandborn; daughter, Stacey (Steve) Trendy; four grandchildren, Jessica Tropf, Steven Bud Tropf, Garrett Trendy, and Jenna Trendy; three great-grandchildren, Owen Jones, Zaiden Tropf, and Grayson Tropf; brother, Larry (Elaine) Sandborn; two nieces, Sara (Bob) Jaruzel and Mari Sandborn; two great nieces and two great nephews.

Bob enjoyed spending time with his brother at the cabin on Neebish Island. He worked and retired from Lansing Drop Forge and General Motors as a millwright. Bob loved his old cars and antiquing. He was a former president of the Capital City Corvette Club in 1983.
