Ronald Eugene Shattuck

Ronald Eugene Shattuck, 84, of Ionia, loving father, grandfather, and great-grandfather passed away February 14, 2021. He was born in Saranac on January 16, 1937, the son of Kenneth J. and Lucille (Cronk) Shattuck. Ronald was a true outdoorsman - he enjoyed hunting, fishing, and camping. He loved his family tremendously, raising his 7 children all on his own. He always made time for his family and never turned anyone away. Ronald made many lasting memories with his children and grandchildren and he will be missed by all who knew and loved him.

Preceding Ronald in death are his parents; son, Billie Shattuck; brothers, Ken, Al, and Jim Shattuck; sisters, Glenna and Brenda; granddaughter, Deanna Jo Shattuck; and niece, Wendy Jenkins. Surviving are his children, Lucy Quintana, Lindy (Charles) Tasker, Kenneth Shattuck, Patricia Shattuck, Tracy (Steve) Hart, Christi (Jerry) Emelander, Ronald “Mark” Shattuck, and Raymond (Brandy) Morofsky; many grandchildren; many, many great-grandchildren; and siblings, Wayne (Carolyn) Shattuck, Ed (Vicki) Shattuck, Doug (Judy) Shattuck, Randy (Denise) Shattuck, Marie (Dick) Taylor, and Deborah VanDyke.

The Funeral Service will be held at 1:00 p.m., Friday, February 19, 2021 at the Lehman Funeral Home, 220 Rich Street, Ionia with Pastor Becky Poor officiating. Interment will follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens. The Family will receive friends on Thursday from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. at the funeral home. Arrangements are entrusted to Lehman Funeral Homes.
