Ruthann Duescher

Ruthann Duescher, of Ionia, passed away February 15, 2025 at the age of 72. She was born in Green Bay, Wisconsin on May 14, 1952, the daughter of Lando and Bernice (Lawrence) Dobberpuhl. Ruthann enjoyed playing words with friends, doing crossword puzzles, and writing poems. Over the years, Ruthann and her husband, Duane sang duets at several weddings. She will be missed by all who knew and loved her.

Preceding Ruthann in death are her parents and an infant brother. She is survived by her loving husband of 53 years, Duane Duescher; son, Timothy Duescher; grandchildren, Noah and Emma; uncle and aunt, John and Karen Heine; and numerous brothers and sisters-in-law.

A Celebration of Ruthann’s Life will be held at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, March 22, 2025 at Shepherd of the Hills Lutheran Church, Lansing. Arrangements are entrusted to Lehman Funeral Homes. Online condolences may be made at www.lehmanfuneralhomes.com.
