Stanley “Stan” L. Wirth, age 69, of Westphalia, passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on Wednesday, October 27, 2021. He was born in St. Johns on November 5, 1951, the son of William and Carolyn (Smith) Wirth. Stan was a faithful member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church and a member of Catholic Order of Foresters. Preceding Stan in death are his parents, granddaughter, Ashlyn Wirth, and nephews, Wayne Wirth and John Wirth.
Stan lived in Westphalia his entire life. He went to St. Mary’s Elementary School and graduated from Pewamo-Westphalia High School in 1969. In 1979, he married Toni and they enjoyed 42 years of marriage while raising their four sons together.
Stan was a self-taught skilled carpenter for nearly 50 years. You could always find him spending time with his family and his grandkids were everything to him. He loved having his family over for cookouts while enjoying the pool, the big backyard, swing set and lots of countryside. Grandpa Stan took the grandkids on lots of quad rides which they loved! Stan also enjoyed golfing, hunting, and playing cards.
Surviving are his wife of 42 years, Toni (Zwolensky-Wohlfert) Wirth; sons, Tyler (Stephanie) Wohlfert, Ryan (Monica) Wohlfert, Adam (Amy) Wirth, and Jordan (Cara) Wirth; 10 grandchildren, Paislee and Trae Wohlfert, Rylee, Dylan and Kaelyn Wohlfert, Aidan and Ariana Wirth, and Cadence, Cooley, Coewyn and Clover Wirth; brothers, Bill (Betty) Wirth, Dan (Barb) Wirth, Jerry (Marge) Wirth, and Al (Grace) Wirth; and many nieces and nephews.
