Steve Mark Johnson

Steve Mark Johnson, age 62, of Ionia, passed away on Thursday, September 29, 2022 surrounded by his family and love. He was born April 5, 1960 in Grand Rapids the son of Norman and Rheta (Cook) Johnson.  Steve loved cars, hunting and especially time spent with his family. He served in the U.S. Army (1979-1985). He was preceded in death by his parents. Surviving are his wife of 29 years, Lori Sue; daughter, Shae (Terry Martin) Johnson; sister, Dawn (Mike) Riley; brother, Donald (Robin) Johnson; in-laws, James and Florence Richards; constant companion, Maya J.; several nieces, nephews, cousins and extended family. The family will receive friends 12:00-2:00 p.m., Tuesday, October 4, 2022 at the Lehman Funeral Home, 220 Rich St., Ionia. Military Graveside services will follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens, Ionia.
