Summer Ann Fisk

Such a beautiful bright flame that has been snuffed out. Summer fought hard her whole life, including overcoming the premature death of her own mother and aunt, Jackie at the age of 5, and the premature death of her baby sister, Michelle Grace Thomas at the age of 14. When she was diagnosed with stage 4 lung cancer, she was determined not to let cancer beat her. She fought with dignity and grace, and the ferocity of a grizzly bear every step of the way. Even when the worst of it was right in her face she, would never show weakness. I am so proud of you for that Babygirl!

Summer is preceded in death by her maternal grandfather, Glenn Arlie Cook, her maternal grandmother, Barbara Jean Garey, her mother, Emma Jewell Cook, her aunt, Jaqueline Joyce Cook, her baby sister, Michelle Grace Thomas, and her paternal grandfather, Carl Duane Thomas.

Summer leaves behind a loving husband of almost 22 years and a lover of almost 24 years, Robert Fisk, her father, Darrel Duane Thomas, her step-mother, Jill Ellen Thomas, her sister, Niki, and her 3 brothers Shawn, Randy, and LeeRay, along with many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.

A Celebration of Summer's Life will be held on Friday, May 15, 2026 at 2:00 p.m. at the Fred Morris Building - Lake Odessa Fairgrounds, 1635 Jordan Lake Road, Lake Odessa.
