Sylvia Ann Krausz, aged 89, of Portland, Michigan, passed away on January 19, 2026. Born on September 20, 1936, to Tom and Ruth Robertson, she is survived by her sons, Thomas (Tammy) Krausz and Richard (Laurie) Krausz; grandchildren Eben, Tommy (Nicole), Nick, Brittney (Jordan), Sommer, Tyler (Lily), Bailey, Eric, Jessie, Anna (Sam), and Jared (Amanda); great-grandchildren Ella, Raina, Rhone, Scarlett, Vera, Mya, Lilly, Braxton, Faith, Kyla, and Kogan; siblings Joe (Mary Ellen) Robertson and Ed (Sylvia) Robertson; along with many nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her husband Gerald Krausz; brother John (Lee) Robertson; and Lawrence (JoAnn) Krausz.
She was a member of LeValley Methodist Church, serving in the choir. Sylvia took pleasure in sewing and creating quilts for her friends and family. She also enjoyed watching horse shows and spending time with friends at the Lumbermill Inn and the Chocolate Moose. Camping at the Ionia Free Fair was also a tradition. She was a farmers wife, a 4H leader, a huge Steelers fan and she also collected Precious Moments and frogs. Additionally, she loved watching tennis and the Hallmark Channel with her dog Rue beside her.
The Funeral Service will be officiated by Pastor Nancy Patera at 11:00 a.m., Friday, January 23, 2026 at the LeValley United Methodist Church. Interment to follow at Danby Township Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Thursday from 4:00–8:00 p.m. at the Lehman Funeral Home, 210 E. Bridge Street, Portland.
