Teresa "Terri" JoAnn (Dilley) Howland

Teresa "Terri" JoAnn Howland, age 64, peacefully passed away January 9, 2023 with her family at her bedside.  She was born on April 29, 1958 and was happily married to Ron Howland for over 35 years and enjoyed many years of happiness.  Terri was a beautiful, strong, amazing mother with three children who were blessed to call her mom, Christine Caster (Rob), Wendy Wagner (Bryon) and Paul Howland, eleven grandchildren and one great grandchild, on the way.  By the age of twenty, she was a mother of three which allowed her children and grand children more time to make so many more memories with her as she passed way too young.  Her loved ones never knew how sick she truly was because of the infectious smile that was always on her face!  She lived by the philosophy that 10% of life is what happens to you and 90% how you react to it, you can only control YOU!!  One of her best qualities was to help others in her community and beyond, young and old, promoting physical and positive support.  She was a certified massage therapist which she truly enjoyed, focusing on others.  This brought immense joy to her and the people she loved. Terri had a love for life and fought with everything she had to overcome her illness.  Her family was so grateful to fight with her to the end. God is with the family and will carry them through this difficult journey, prayer = peace.   They would like all her loved ones to focus on her contagious smile and carry on her legacy!! She would often say "love you much!!" May she rest in peace, our beautiful guardian angel! Terri was preceded in death by her mother, Beverly and her sister, Christine.  Surviving are her husband Ron, daughters Christine, Wendy and son Paul, her grandchildren, parents, Donald and Nancy Dilley and six siblings.

A Celebration of Life will be held at 3:00 p.m., Thursday, January 12, 2023 at the V.F.W. Post #4090 in Portland. The family will receive friends starting at 2:00 p.m. Online condolences may be made at www.lehmanfuneralhomes.com.
