Thomas A. Brockman, age 85, of Ionia, passed away on Saturday, August 19, 2023. He was born on September 5, 1937 in Ionia the son of Vern and Lucille (Schmitt) Brockman. Tom was a long time truck driver who was proud of his safe driving awards that he received during his 33 years as a long haul driver, especially his driver of the year award in 1983. He always looked forward to camping and traveling with his wife, Pat to various collectible doll shows. Tom was preceded in death by his parents; a sister, Joyce (Robert) Duell. Surviving are his wife of 67 years, Pat; daughter, Karen (Greg) Covert, son, David ( Beth Cooper) Brockman, son, Kevin (Roshelle) Brockman, and daughter, Dana (James) Paulin; 10 grandchildren; and several great grandchildren; sister, Jenny Wright. The Funeral Service will be conducted by Deacon Zenon Cardenas at 11:00 a.m., Friday, August 25, 2023 at the Lehman Funeral Home, 220 Rich St., Ionia.
