Thomas Allan Meyer

Thomas A. Meyer, age 66, of Coopersville, loving son, brother, father and Papa passed away on Saturday, September 24, 2022 surrounded by his loving family. He was born on December 23, 1955, the son of Willis and Virginia Meyer. Tom was dedicated to Meijer Corporation for 44 years. He enjoyed golfing, vintage sports cars, movies with his granddaughters and had an incurable sweet tooth. He was always willing to help others and remained active in and out of work. Tom was preceded in death by his parents. Surviving are his children, Kristin Meyer and Scott (Karen) Meyer; granddaughters, Isabella Commorato and Aubree Meyer; siblings, Bill (Jayne) Meyer, Henry Meyer, Gordy Meyer, Cookie Meyer, and Steve (Sherri) Meyer; several nieces and nephews; as well as special friends and loved ones, Jimi Lynne Chapman (Steve Chapman) and Ashley (Brent) Goodwin. The Memorial Service will delivered by by Mr. Brian Norton at 11:00 a.m., Thursday, September 29, 2022 at the Lehman Funeral Home, 210 E. Bridge Street, Portland. The family will receive friends from 5-8 p.m. on Wednesday at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital.
