Thomas “Rex” Reffitt, Jr., age 49, of Free Soil, Michigan, passed away on January 1, 2021. He was born on July 22, 1971, the son of Thomas “Rex” and Janice (Yerks) Reffitt, Sr. Rex loved rock and roll and playing the drums. He enjoyed swimming and fishing in his younger years. His smile would light up a room and had the ability to make people laugh. His love of life and his family will never be forgotten. He was preceded in death by his father in 2007. Surviving are his mother, Janice; his brother, Mark (Becky) Reffitt; a niece and several nephews. Rex is also survived by many aunts, uncles, cousins, neighbors and friends. A memorial service will be held later in the year. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Michigan Special Olympics 160 68^th SW; Grand Rapids, MI 49548 in memory of Rex.
