Timothy James Ward

Timothy James Ward of Ionia passed away on July 7, 2025 at the age of 42, after a long battle of kidney failure and heart disease.

Tim was born in Ionia on April 5, 1983. He joins his father William who passed in August of 2024.

He is survived by his wife Klasiena, daughter Izola Anders, son-in-law Noah Sutherland, grandson Revan J. Sutherland, mother Sharon Ward and sisters Becky Ward and Cindy Camp.

Tim was a graduate of Ionia High School, his hobbies included hunting, fishing, collecting knives, site-seeing and especially spending time with his grandson. He was an amazingly strong man that stepped up to the job of being a father to his daughter Izola, who feels very blessed to have had someone care as much as he did.
