W. Ronald Wildman Obituary

W. Ronald Wildman of Portland, Michigan, passed away peacefully at the age of 87, surrounded by his family.

Ronald was born on February 21, 1935 to Virgil and Laura Wildman in Carson City, Michigan.

Ronald worked at General Motors for 32 years, he retired in 1984. He was a proud veteran of the US Army.

He was an active farmer, he loved building and carpentry work, and working on cars. His absolute favorite were all his beloved dogs.

He married Maxine Karrar in 1954 and they were married for 68 years.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Virgil and Laura Wildman and brother, Robert Wildman.

He is survived by his wife, Maxine Deloris Wildman; children, Terry (Darlene) Wildman, Rhonda (Tim) Ray, Lorrie Schafer, and Connie (Jeff) Manshum; his grandchildren, Vicki (Dan) Seal, Mandy (Tim) Ward, Jessica Taboada, Jesse (Heather) Torres, Liz (Kristy) Davenport, Stephanie Manshum, Tom Ray, Jordan (Jacki) Schafer, Katie Ray, Alyson (Evan) Hayden, Tyler Manshum, Skyler Manshum, and Christopher Manshum; his 21 great-grandchildren; and his 3 great-great-grandchildren. He will forever be loved and missed.

A Memorial Service honoring Ronald will be held on Saturday, November 26, 2022 at 11:00 a.m. at Mt. Hope Church, Portland. Arrangements are entrusted to Lehman Funeral Homes. Online condolences may be made at www.lehmanfuneralhomes.com.
