William Milton Bigford

William Milton Bigford, age 84 of Lyons, passed away on Friday, June 3, 2022. He was born on February 25, 1938, the son of William and Crystal Bigford. Bill was a veteran of the U.S. Army Artillery Division serving during the Korean War. He served as a past Post Commander of the V.F.W. Post 4646 Muir-Lyons Post. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping, and being up north. He was very handy and spent his lifetime as a mechanic. He was preceded in death by his parents and many brothers and sisters. Surviving are his children, Richard Bigford, Dale Bigford and Kimberly Bigford; sister, Cindy Frese; granddaughter, Autumn Lockenour; grandson, Tyler Lockenour; very special companion, Judy Fyan and her children, John Cahoon, Tammy Wakefield and Lanty Cahoon; and many nieces and nephews.

A Visitation will be held from 1:00-4:00 p.m. on Thursday, June 9, 2022 at the Lehman Funeral Home, 210 E. Bridge Street, Portland. Military honors will be provided by the Ionia V.F.W. David Huhn Post at 3:45 p.m. at the funeral home. Online condolences may be made at www.lehmanfuneralhomes.com.
