William D. Connelly

William D. Connelly, age 84, of Westphalia, passed away on Monday, November 12, 2018. He was born on September 5, 1934 in Detroit, the son of Jerry and Hanna (Waters) Connelly. Bill spent most of his childhood in Detroit and Chicago. He enjoyed golfing, playing cards, and going to casinos. Bill and his wife, Sue enjoyed traveling to Gulfport, MS and Phoenix, AZ, as well as Europe. He retired from General Motors after many years of service. He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Sylvia “Sue” Connelly; step-daughter, Susan Oliver and a sister, Joan Tonge. Surviving are his step-children, Lisa Lipinski (Christopher Klug), Angela Rand (Mitch) and Antoinette Goodman; step-grandchildren Jacob, Alexander, and Benjamin Rand; Ella and Lucas Goodman; Avery and Chloe Oliver; sister, Sharon Anderson. The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated by Rev. Eric Weber at 10:30 a.m., Thursday, November 15, 2018 at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, Westphalia. Rite of Committal will be in North Victory Township Cemetery in Ludington. The family will receive friends 4-7 p.m., Wednesday, November 14, 2018 at the St. Mary’s Parish Hall in Westphalia.
