Age 90, passed away on Wednesday, June 4, 2025. He was born on December 19, 1934 the son of Coy and Lilly (Douglas) Marshall, Sr. Bill enjoyed traveling, wintering in Punta Gorda, Florida, and the occasional trip to the casino. Bill retired from General Motors after 30 years of service. He enjoyed golf, cornhole, and hunting and spending time with his family. Bill is a veteran of the United States Navy.

He was preceded  in death by his parents;  his wife of 58 years, Donna Jean; his brother, Coy Marshall, Jr.; his brother-in-law, Tom Wilson.  Surviving are his sons, Scott Marshall and Brad (Colleen) Marshall, both of Grand Ledge; grandchildren, Savannah (Ron) Detzler, Nicholas Marshall, and Ashley (Trent) Hengesbach; great grandchildren, Mya Thelen-Hengesbach, Jade Hengesbach, and McKenna Detzler; brother-in-law, Steve (Flora) Wilson and sister-in-law, Andrea Wilson, both of Dewitt. A Memorial Visitation will be held from 3:00-6:00 p.m. on Wednesday, June 11, 2025 with a time of sharing at 5:30 p.m. at Lehman Funeral Homes, 210 E. Bridge Street, Portland.
