William F. Ward

William Frank Ward of Ionia, passed away on August 21, 2024 at the age of 77. William was born on September 7, 1946 to his mother Gladys Mae (Jenkins) Olshack and his father Lewis Ward. He graduated from Ionia High School in 1965 and worked for Fisher Body. He was preceded in death by his mother Gladys, father Lewis, stepfather Willard Olshack, baby brother Ricky and brother-in-law Harry Block Sr.

He is survived by his children Rebecca Ward, Cynthia (Patrick) Camp and Tim (Kasey) Ward, all of Ionia. Grandchildren Christian Camp, Kayden (Liam) Barker, Courtney Camp, and Izola (Noah) Sutherland.  Great-grandchild Revan Sutherland. Siblings, Don (Kathy) Ward of Ionia, LaDonna Block of Flint, Linda Worthington of Waco, Texas, Jolene Farrell (Vic Bookie) of Ionia, Terry (Judy) Ward of Comstock Park, Barb Hawley of Ionia, Kimberly Gamble of Ionia and several nieces and nephews and special friend Heather Post.

A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
