Witney E. Fockler

Witney Eboni Fockler, born on February 21, 1987, in Grand Rapids, MI, and proud native of Ionia, entered into eternal rest on February 3, 2026. Witney grew up in Ionia before moving to Grand Rapids, where she spent much of her adult life. She was a devoted daughter, sister, mother, and friend, always putting her loved ones first and going the extra mile to support those around her. Above all, Witney cherished her role as a mother—her children, Ashyah and Mykel Standifer, were the center of her world and gave her the strength to persevere through lifes challenges. Witney’s warmth, generosity, and vibrant spirit left a lasting impact on everyone fortunate enough to know her.

She is lovingly remembered by her mother, Lisa Murray (Fockler); her father, Robert Lewis; her beloved children, Ashyah and Mykel Standifer; her brother and several sisters; and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends. Witney had a deep appreciation for music and the arts, dreamt of traveling the world, and aspired to study stenography. Her light and love will be dearly missed and fondly remembered by all whose lives she touched.
