Cynthia Marie (Botsford) Schrauben

Cynthia Marie Schrauben, age 54, of Portland, passed away July 20, 2020. She was born on April 5, 1966 in Lansing, Michigan. Cindy was a graduate of Grand Ledge High School Class of 1985. She worked for 19 years at Portland Public Schools as a para pro, working with children with special needs. Cindy was an avid Detroit Lions fan and she loved the Christmas Season.

Preceding Cindy in death are her in-laws, LaVern and Mary Ellen Schrauben; aunt, Jean Breyer; grandparents, Tom and Little Botsford, Irene Smith, Jack Breyer, Ed Smith; and her dog, Toby. She is survived by her husband of 29 years, LaVern Schrauben; daughters, Hannah (fiancé, Sean Brown) Schrauben and Holly Schrauben; parents, Jim and Sherry Botsford; sister, Teresa Botsford; and many special in-laws, nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, extended family and friends.

The Funeral Service will be celebrated by Rev. Mike Alber at 11:00 a.m., Friday, July 24, 2020 at the Lehman Funeral Home, 210 E. Bridge Street, Portland. The family will receive friends on Thursday evening from 5-8 p.m. at the funeral chapel. Interment will be at Portland Cemetery. Arrangements are entrusted to Lehman Funeral Homes.
